CO.LAB Fellow

The Company Lab (CO.LAB) is a nonprofit startup accelerator that supports entrepreneurial growth in southeast Tennessee. We work to increase the viability of startups in our region and strengthen the ecosystem of support behind them. The companies we serve range from mom and pop shops to high growth potential startups. Established as the front door for entrepreneurs in our region, we help launch and sustain new businesses by connecting entrepreneurs with mentors, investors, and a community of support. We also work to create environments that inspire entrepreneurial activity, open doors within our business community, and promote job creation. These efforts may take place at the street level, on a national stage, or even globally.

Our work has been featured in The New York Times, CNBC, Fox News, Fortune, Forbes and Fast Company, and we’re only just getting started. You’ll have the opportunity to help us build upon our past successes while supporting new ones that advance our mission.

The CO.LAB Fellowship program is 4-12 month fellowship program designed to provide young professionals with the opportunity to help startup entrepreneurs accelerate their businesses. CO.LAB Fellows work on a project basis with CO.LAB directors to create a best-in-class experience for our entrepreneurial community, while developing the knowledge, confidence, and relationships to pursue their own path in entrepreneurial, investment, social impact, or corporate endeavors.

Serve entrepreneurs by being entrepreneurial. We employ a Build/Manage/Sell framework in everything we do. CO.LAB Fellows work in 4-month project periods focused on each concept as it applies to the CO.LAB business model. Fellows are evaluated after each project period by the managing director. Continuation in the program is dependent upon director reviews.
