We have seen over 300 talented entrepreneurs complete SpringBoard, our 8-week business planning class, over the last three years! Recently, we sent out our annual survey out to all 300 graduates and saw several encouraging things. One statistic showed that even in this economically tough time, 72% of our graduates reported that they increased (43%) or maintained (29%) their monthly revenue after completing the course!
Encouraging news like that is worth celebrating and sharing! All these entrepreneurs have passion for their work and good stories about their venture. One of our favorite things in the world is to hear from local entrepreneurs about the struggles and successes they’ve encountered over the years. We also heard from a number of SpringBoard grads that they would like to meet others who have gone through the course to see what they are up to and hear how they are doing.
So, on March 3rd, from 6:00-8:30PM we are planning a SpringBoard Showcase to provide an opportunity to see samples of the phenomenal work SpringBoard graduates are doing. This event will feature live music and a silent auction to promote the wide variety of products and services offered by SpringBoard grads, and will also showcase several specialty foods, drinks, and desserts from various SpringBoard graduates. Don’t miss a great opportunity to meet and talk with small business owners who are passionate about what they do, and come ready to buy some of their products!
We will also be providing a list of local small business services that were recommended by SpringBoard graduates in our recent survey (If you are a grad and haven’t filled out the survey, you still can!).
Date- March 3, 2011, 6:00-8:30PM
Cost- $5 at the door.
RSVP for an advance listing of the silent auction items!
