CO.LAB is taking this summer as an opportunity to evaluate our accelerator program so we can continue evolving and best serve entrepreneurs regionally and nationwide. Spring 2017 Accelerator Cohort
adhoc is an application that helps organizations express and manage collaborative work. The application uses a document-like interface with potential to add checklists for work progress, featuring enough flexibility to describe tasks and processes no matter the complexity. These features allow teams to track progress in projects while also being able to see the work itself being done, thus combining the features of document and project management tools into one streamlined platform.
BBQ RowePat Rowe
BBQ Rowe is a local barbecue catering company that serves clients across the Chattanooga area. BBQ Rowe was the 1st place winner in the 2016 Launch Startup Showdown.
Music Therapy Gateway in Communications, Inc. is a software platform that allows users to engage in music therapy without having a music therapist present. Due to the limited number of certified music therapists available to the local populace, this platform will make the benefits of music therapy accessible to a much larger number of people affected with speech, motor and cognition issues. Music Therapy Gateway was the 1st place winner of the 2016 ‘Will This Float?’ pitch competition.
Sisu Sauna is a new innovative sauna therapy studio recently opened on Chattanooga’s Southside. The sauna features infrared technology that yields benefits such as pain relief, skin rejuvenation and stress reduction. Sisu Sauna is working to expand and franchise in the future.
Technooga is an app development company dedicated to making products that encourage users to engage with others and connect with their community. The company’s first product in development is called Emoto, an app designed for churches to engage with visitors. Features include push notifications for child care and geofencing abilities that communicates information with users as they arrive and leave.
WorkWeek is an all-in-one tool that helps service businesses focus less on paperwork and more on growing successful businesses. The platform helps manage schedules, invoices, customers and a number of other tasks that are part of service businesses’ day-to-day workload.
